About Me

Hello – I’m Brianna Farber, a cultural and environmental anthropologist. My work and interests culminate in the question, “How do we create a just transition for sustainable, livable futures for everyone?”  Social science, climate science, clean energy R&D, community-based research, and environmental justice in particular inform my work. From 2019-2021, I was an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the Department of Energy Bioenergy Technologies Office. I received a PhD in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina, with Certificates in Public Health and Women and Gender Studies.
